Hotel Receptionist
The job:
Dealing with any guest enquiries through email, phone calls, Booking.com, Expedia, and Airbnb as well as in person.
Assisting guests with checking in and any special requests to be handled accordingly.
Ensuring the hotel is tidy and well-managed, may include doing some light cleaning in general areas.
Assist the Manager in operating the hotel smoothly, and communicate with all other team members of the hotel: Housekeeping, Maintenance, Manager and other receptionists.
Keeping a close eye on reservations in our systems as well as external systems and handling these accordingly on a case-by-case basis.
Handle guests' payments and ensure these are secure.
What we expect:
Works well in our small team as well as the ability to work solo.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to handle stressful periods.
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally. The ability to speak or understand Mandarin/Cantonese would be a plus.
