Location: The Imperial Hotel, Torquay. 152 bedrooms, 200 cover restaurant, large bar, lounge and terrace, leisure club with Indoor swimming pool, outdoor heated pool (seasonal), 6 meeting and event suites. Part of the Andrew Brownsword Collection, The Imperial Hotel is located right on the coast with un-rivalled views of Torbay.

We welcome candidates who are new to the industry as well as experienced ones - what matters most to us is that you have a positive and engaging personality, you are self-motivated and enjoy the buzz and excitement of a busy hotel atmosphere.

We need a strong Operations Manager (who acts as the deputy to the General Manager) who’s great with people, knows about hotel operations and can lead a close-knit team. For this role you will need to be a hands-on manager who leads from the front, be great at communication and have good IT skills, be good at developing others and be happy to lead the hotel Duty Management team. We are looking for a strong all-rounder who is comfortable and knowledgeable of all areas of hotel operations with particular focus on F&B and Bedrooms.

Your organisational and planning skills will be second to none. This position would suit an experienced Operations Manager looking for their next larger role within a company that has a proven track record of promoting within.
