As ‘Operations Manager’ you’ll be behind the scenes, delivering on our mission!
You’ll be a passionate leader with the ability to motivate and support your team in order to exceed our guest expectations. You’ll be a perfectionist when it comes to the presentation and preparation of food as well as maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards. You’ll take ownership and pride in your work and support the heads of departments in delivering an excellent experience to our guests. Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager’s responsibility is to take control, accountability, and ownership for the operational leadership of the hotel within the overall policies and controls established by the Company and hotel General Manager, ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered, and budgeted profitability achieved.
What will I be doing?
We are looking for a charismatic, strong driven individual, who is a dynamic, genuine all-rounder operationally, has a background in branded hotels and can lead a team of HOD's with both commercial awareness and a guest service focused attitude. The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate great leadership skills, deliver excellent customer service, be approachable, flexible, enthusiastic, visible, and confident at guiding team members to be capable in problem solving and service recovery. You will have a positive "can do" attitude, be a proactive planner and great communicator to all stakeholders within the business. This role will include duty management responsibilities.
This is definitely not a 9 to 5, Monday to Friday role so working in the evening, at weekends and on public holidays is expected.
You will work closely with the General Manager, and you will have the desire to learn and develop your own career, making this an exciting position for an experienced Hotel/Operations Manager with their eyes set on becoming a General Manager of the future.
