We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to join us and oversee the day-to-day operation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Management Team and become instrumental in driving our product forward, using a creative mind, passionate approach and meticulous attention to detail to stay ahead of the curve and ensure that Buchanan Arms Hotel Leisure Club & Spa remains in the forefront.
POSITION PROFILE
Providing direct support to the Cluster Manager, you will be responsible for the Operations of the Hotel and leading the team :
- Operation, coordination, management, supervision and analysis of results from all Hotel Departments.
- Direct and inspire the high performance of hotel teams continuously evaluating and maintaining high service, quality and production processes and workflow.
- Ensure the smooth implementation of the procedures and policies of Meliá Hotels International in alignment with the strategic plans.
The ideal candidate will: • 360 degrees of Hotel Operations knowledge.
- Have experience or a similar level Hotel Manager level in a similar property.
- Ideally, experience in the Rooms division with an F&B background will be considered.
- Have the ability to coach, lead and inspire the team.
- Be passionate with a hands-on approach.
- Be keen to assist the team in our constant improvement journey.
- Be committed to people development as well as taking the greatest care of our guests.
- Have financial acumen
This role will give you the opportunity to lead and evolve in the operational standards as well as exceed budgeted commercial expectations through a clear understanding of GP, P&L and labour costs.
You will work closely with the Heads of Departments as a key contributor to the success of the Hotel. You will be key to ensuring a high level of guest service, building our reputation and becoming the first choice in our guest's eyes.
