An opportunity has arisen for a Hotel Linen Porter to join the team at the Bedford Swan Hotel.

The Bedford Swan Hotel which has 113 bedrooms is situated in a superb location overlooking the river Ouse. The hotel has recently undergone full refurbishment throughout the entire hotel.

Reporting into the Housekeeping Manager, the role of the Hotel Linen Porter will involve but not limited to:

-Monitoring and tracking the daily usage of linen within the hotel

-Recording used linen to be sent out for laundry and ensuring correct amounts of linen are returned to the hotel

-Distribution of all linen deliveries to the relevant storage areas within the hotel and supporting the Housekeeping Team in the distrubution of linen for the cleaning of bedrooms

-Public area cleaning to include front of house areas, function rooms, bedroom corridors and public toilets

This is a zero contracted position but there will be the opportunity to work up to 30-40 hours a week depending on the need of the business.

Shift times and days will vary each week and will include weekends. All our positions include working shifts at the weekend.

Shifts hours are usually between the hours of 8am and 3pm.

We are very flexible with hours within these times or if you are looking for weekend work only and are available to work one or two shifts over the weekends each week then this is something we can discuss.

Successful candidates must be able to work on own initiative as well as being able to work well in a team.
