YOUR ROLE:
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will be working closely with the General Manager supporting and managing the smooth flow of all day-to-day operations within the hotel.
You will be responsible for maintaining standards and inspiring and motivating the team to deliver bespoke guest service in accordance with our ethos and policies. You will ensure a smooth 4-star guest journey from arrival to departure by exceeding guests’ expectations, whilst identifying and maximising all sales opportunities and ensuring the team are developed to do the same.
You will work closely with departments to create and implement standard operating procedures to be adhered to through training and development of all team members whilst ensuring performance is managed effectively at all levels by supporting and leading day to day operations.
You will work with the GM and senior team to contribute to the overall strategic plan for the business, utilising all available opportunities to drive revenue, manage and minimise costs where ever possible and manage the overall running of the hotel in the GM’s absence, monitoring guest feedback and actioning where appropriate.
Finally, you will support departments to effectively recruit and develop teams and individuals and ensure a culture of team engagement and service excellence is always adhered to.
