Are you searching for an autonomous Front End Development role which will allow you to work in a truly collaborative & modern environment? Prefer to build creative, greenfield, technical solutions to front end solutions rather than maintaining legacy systems over and over?

The Candidate are recruiting for a Front End Developer to join a unique digital agency whose offering boasts a wider variety of psychological testing and digital experience development. Our client is renowned for offering their clients a truly bespoke service whilst allows them to delve into the minds of their customers, understanding their drivers and creating an entirely bespoke experience across all their channels (website, digital, social & more).

As the Front End Developer, you will be working alongside the wider Development team to create niche experiences which require highly technical solutions. Implementing the most modern technology and frameworks into your creations, you’ll have the freedom and autonomy to use your experience to lead on projects. From a technical stance, a large chunk of the project roadmaps are built around various JavaScript frameworks but mainly sit on a C# .Net back end. It’s not essential for you to have any exposure into C# but an understanding would be beneficial.

The team are working fully remotely now but plan to be as flexible as possible in the future. If fully remote is more convenient for you, that’s fine (now & forever). If you’d like a hybrid model based from home & their Newcastle office, that’s also fine!

Key Responsibilities of the Front End Developer:

Lead across the planning of key phases and development of products
Manage stakeholder expectations from both an internal and external stance
Act as the technical champion on client meetings, discussing the project in a way that both technical and non technical stakeholders can understand fully the scope of work
Able to push boundaries from a technical & creative stance, whilst always keeping an keen eye on new methodologies and technologies to introduce into your processes

The Ideal Candidate

Passionate about front end development with core knowledge revolving around HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js is a bonus but similar framework experience is fine as the team are happy to train across systems.
Able to communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders
Any back end exposure to the Microsoft stack is a bonus but not essential as this role is focused on the front end ONLY.
Keen eye for design & UX is advantageous
Working knowledge of Adobe XD / Photoshop and know their way around enough to access designs and retrieve assets.

eCRM signup link to Mailchimp
Automated welcome campaign
To be built on client’s Windows Server
SQL
HTML5, CSS3, C#
META / keyword integration
Facebook Pixel
Integrated Google Analytics/ Adwords / Tag Manager /GA4
301 / redirect plan
Sandbox / development preview site required
Integration with CMS
Integrated campaigns with requirements for back-end data capture, linking with various 3rd parties via API etc.
