Hot Dip Galvanizing-Work operative; Night Shift Witham, England
Job description
We are inviting applicants to fill roles on our permanent night shift. The role is within a factory environment. The candidate will be required to perform manual handling tasks where teamwork is essential. They should be able to follow instructions and communicate effectively in a reasonably paced environment. Flexibility to work overtime as well as exemplary standards of attendance and punctuality are vital to maintain high levels of customer service. The factory has handling equipment which include forklift trucks and overhead cranes.
Rates of Pay include a basic pay, shift allowance and a bonus scheme. Weekend work pays an attractive rate suitable to the hours of work.
The successful candidates will be motivated, willing and have the desire to learn quickly to become a key member of the production team.
They must be able to work in a team or by themselves but must have a keen eye for putting safety first whilst working in a FLT and overhead crane environment.
Night shift hours are: Monday - Friday 10pm to 6am, x1 half hour break.
Contracted to 37.5 hours per week with regular overtime available.
