Job description

Westcotes is a friendly hostel located in the Centre of Leicester looking for an individual to join our staff to cover someone on maternity. We are looking to match with an individual who is dedicated, personable and happy to become an invaluable member of our hostel.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the services are delivered in accordance with the companies’ standards and policies and procedures, ensuring that the hostel is a safe environment and remains compliant at all time. The position available is currently has the working hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Hostel this includes;-

Cleaning the rooms and common spaces including, Cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms.
Working as a part of a team
Oversee the guest welcome, from enquiry to checkout
Adhere to all health and safety policies
Help to deal with guest staying with us
On departures making sure all keys and company property is returned

Who we are looking for:

Fluent spoken/written English (other languages are a bonus)
Eligible to work in the UK
Flexible availability
Able to take initiative
Organized and friendly individual
Detail-oriented member
Previous experience in mental health/care roles would be great

Additional information:

The role involves physical activities and in some instances you may be required to move furniture.
The post holder will have flexibility to work in order to support the Hostel this could include working on occasional weekends, in addition to supporting other properties within the company.
A successful candidate is required to provide satisfactory reference and to apply for a Basic Disclosure before they can commence their employment.
