The Queens Hotel, Lytham is looking for a driven, enthusiastic & passionate Host to join our team!
Rate of Pay
- £7.49 - £10.42per hour.
- FT & PT roles available
- Pay is processed every 4 weeks (on a Friday).

Rota Schedule
Shift patterns are flexible around venue opening times & demands.
Shift start/finish times will mostly centre around food service hours.

- Experience of working within a fast-paced food business.
- Be an engaging, friendly and highly organised person with great customer service skills.
- Highly organised.
- Experience with using a booking system.
- Keen eye for maintaining high standards.
- Experience working on the floor in a food led pub or restaurant.
- Confidence with finding solutions and resilience to daily challenges.
- Passion for fresh food & premium drinks.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests to the venue.
- Engaging with every guest.
- Making / amending / cancelling reservations.
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
- Use of computer systems and tills.
- Showing guests through to their tables.
- Communicating booking requirements to the wider team.
- Communication with the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth running of shifts.
- Managing wait times accordingly so as not to impact the guest experience.
