Dishoom cafés are bustling spaces where people come together to break down barriers and share in a love of Bombay food and culture. Each of our restaurants pay homage to old Irani cafés and are deeply rooted in some aspect of Bombay history.

Our Edinburgh café sits within a stunning 1920s-era listed building and honours the academic pursuits of Sir Patrick Geddes – a Scottish botanist, sociologist, town planner who founded the department of Sociology & Civics at Bombay University.

We’re looking for a chatty, caring and attentive person to join us as a Host/ FOH Team Member/ Senior Receptionist . You’re a natural people person and a stickler for the details, never walking past a problem and always offering a helping hand.

What to expect

• Contracted minimum 40 hours per week, across 5 days.
• Average pay up to £14- £14.50 per hour inclusive of Tronc
Weekly changing rota, requiring flexibility Monday - Sunday.
