An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Technician to join the Hospitality department, based at the college’s Tycoch campus.
The successful candidate for the post will be responsible for providing technician support for the Hospitality department to both the curriculum and commercial kitchen/restaurant.
With relevant industrial experience, you will support lecturing staff in the day to day preparation and organisation of catering equipment and materials, whilst supporting the learning process within the College.
You will ensure that all resources are in place for learners to use during practical sessions and that a safe working environment is maintained.
With a strong catering background and a current knowledge of Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations, you will possess at minimum, a Level 2 Food preparation qualification and ideally a qualification in Health and Safety.
The successful candidate will have sound administration skills and be proficient in the use of IT including spreadsheets and databases.
This role is Part-Time with 18.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum.
