Salisbury Hospice at Home service provides care for people at the end of their lives in their home environment, bringing Hospice care to the home.
We are looking for people who are familiar with the concept of a Hospice at Home service and who can provide personal care, emotional support and know how to care for the dying in the home environment.
We are a team who are dedicated to providing the best possible care. When people are dying there is only one chance to get it right, so we need people with the right skills and attitudes. You will need great communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in the home. Training is provided, as well as ongoing education, there will be at least a 6week induction period, which may include working day shifts. You will be supported by your peers as well as a trained nurse whom is the co-ordinator of the service, as well as a senior nurse/team lead.
This position is for 3 nights on average per week, 27hrs per week worked over a 4 week roster period. Night shifts are 10pm - 7.30am.

The service operates over the 24hour period, 7 days a week.
