About the Role
The Horticulture Quality Manager role is offered on a part-time basis to work 16 hours per week on a flexible working schedule. The role is remote based, with some travel required.
The YMCA Awards Quality Manager roles are fast-paced and varied, with the aim of supporting learners to reach their potential. You will do this by providing first-class support to our customers and working with the broader team and freelance resource to deliver our strategy. Some examples of activities include:
- Supporting customers to prepare learners for end point assessment
- Validate accuracy and consistency of assessment outcomes
- Engage with stakeholders to maintain and strengthen relationships
- Support new and existing customers to grow YMCA Awards’ impact and revenue
- Maintain Regulatory Compliance
- Manage freelance resource including performance monitoring and shadowing
- Support with the Creation of industry-leading products for both new and existing customers
- Complete administrative task accurately and efficiently
About You
So, are you...
- Passionate about Horticulture?
- Able to work under pressure and at problem solving?
Do you have...
- A minimum of 3 years recent and relevant experience in the Horticulture or Landscape Construction Sector
- Understanding of the regulatory requirements for End Point Assessment ( EPA)
- Demonstrate experience of Internal Quality Assurance practice (IQA)
- A relevant assessor and IQA qualification
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Strong admin & record keeping skills to support regulatory audits
