Horticultural Nursery Assistant Oakham, England
Job description
Barnsdale Gardens is internationally renowned and the plant nursery has an excellent reputation for producing top quality peat-free plants for sale to visitors. We are looking for someone who is either horticulturally trained or with a keen interest in gardening to work within our small nursery. The position will be Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work on a rota basis. You must be a good communicator, as dealing with visitors/customers is an essential part of the job. Other duties include - potting, weeding, propagating, watering, labelling, putting plants out for sale.
As we train in all aspects of this job all we really need is someone who is keen to learn, keen to do well and who will always give 100%.
