We'd like you to join us as an Internal Communications Coordinator at Active Care Group
Sitting within our HR Team, the Internal Communications Coordinator will support the Head of Internal Communications and Engagement, with the delivery of Internal Communications initiatives across the UK. You will positively promote our behaviours, share good news stories, keep colleagues up to date on Group news, provide dedicated support to help drive our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and Wellbeing commitments across multiple communications platforms.
As Internal Communications Coordinator, you will support a positive colleague experience where our people feel informed, connected, and inspired by the Group and the work we do.

- Working 5 days a week
- 37.5 Hrs per week
- Monday to Friday
What you'll be doing:
Job Purpose:
- Create, manage, and deliver content and stories through our primary internal communications channels including newsletters, email, SharePoint, screensavers, and onsite channels.
- Attend regular ED&I meetings, writing and publishing notes, actions, and minutes.
- Create an ED&I and Wellbeing Calendar of Events to educate and raise awareness of ED&I and wellbeing initiatives, special events, and awareness days. You will enjoy researching information to support any communications.
- Champion storytelling that reflects and enhances our behaviours.
- Bring creative ideas that help to excite and bring our people closer to the Group.
- Help to promote our Group benefits, writing content, and organising webinars.
- Maintain the Group SharePoint Intranet, including writing content, and creating new images or banners.
- Be responsible for supporting the Quality and Health and Safety Teams in producing regular Newsletters and Bulletins.
- Provide internal communications support to the Executive Board in the absence of the Head of Internal Communications and Engagement.
- Work closely with the Group Marketing team to share and promote stories across the Group’s social channels
What you'll have:
- You’ll enjoy building strong working relationships.
- Have a passion for creating engaging content.
- Be able to communicate effectively, clearly, and professionally with colleagues at all levels.
- Have clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate use of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint Intranet creation and design.
- Experience in using Canva or similar creative design tool.
- You’ll have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be able to prioritise and organise your workload to meet deadlines.
- Creative and confident to share ideas.
- You’ll enjoy building strong working relationships.
- You will be self-motivated and happy to work productively remotely.
- The successful candidate will be keen on developing their experience in an Internal Communications role, and it goes without saying you will have exceptional communication skills. You will be passionate, energetic and keep up to date with communication best practices, new developments, and innovation.
- Desired - minimum 2 years-experience working within an internal communications function.
- Experience in delivering projects on time.
- Experience of being proactively involved in Employee Network Groups.
