We have an exciting & challenging opportunity for a Regional Manager to join the National Homicide Service responsible for a large geographical area of the South West, West Midlands and South Wales. This role is home-based working 37.5 hours per week.

About the role:
You will lead and support a team of Caseworkers and Senior Caseworkers to meet VS and Homicide Service standards and contractual requirements. You will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisational skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload and will have experience of working with data, setting key performance indicators and managing a budget.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional trauma informed advocacy and support to all service users and you will have an understanding of the impact that trauma and bereavement can have on individuals. We support staff and volunteers to keep them safe within their role and you will lead on the importance of personal and professional resilience for staff and volunteers.
You will have excellent communication skills and will support colleagues within HS to maintain the highest standards of service delivery. You will have demonstrable experience of sensitively managing change across a geographically dispersed team.
You will also enjoy working closely with a range of stakeholders and will have experience in building constructive working relationships (including the Major Crime teams in each County), focused on delivering the best service for vulnerable service users.
You will need to be able to travel to visit teams across England and Wales, and therefore a driving license and use of a car are essential. You will be reimbursed for all travel costs.
