The Role

We are working with a growing care provider who own a portfolio of care homes across England, providing nursing, residential and dementia care to elderly people.

My client is seeking a nurse qualified Home Manager with experience of managing an elderly care home that provides nursing. The home requires turnaround due to the latest CQC inspection and occupancy of the home needing improvement. It is important that the Home Manager is hands on, confident and has experience of CQC inspections and strong leadership skills.

The Candidate
The successful candidate must have an active nursing pin with no restrictions, have Home Management experience of working within an elderly care home and proof of running a successful home previously.

The candidate must be able to evidence positive CQC reports in previous roles, as well as provide experience of increasing occupancy within a care home or keeping occupancy at a high and stable level. The Home Manager must be able to encourage and support the staffing team to provide excellent care and meet the requirements set out by the business and CQC.

• Must have elderly care experience*

Location
This role is based on the Wirral, and is commutable from the Birkenhead, West Kirkby, Ellesmere Port, Chester and Liverpool

Interview Process
The interview process will be 2 stages.

Stage one: Teams Call with Operations Director/Regional Manager
Stage two: Walk around the home

Summary
My client is seeking an experienced nurse qualified Home Manager with exposure to working within an elderly care setting, where the successful candidate can work to high standards and ensure the home is running in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £50k per annum.
