Job description
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 2 Home Delivery Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Work a 4 on 2 off 5 on 2 off shift rotation
- Complete pre arrival calls to customers before delivery
- Deliver and in some cases build furniture in customer room of choice
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience driving Class 2 vehicle is desirable
