MORE ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a pro-active, resourceful, experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with UK hospitality / retail recruitment experience to implement & drive talent sourcing and recruiting across our business in the UK. The role reports to the HR Director UK and is member of the HR Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team, Operations leaders and hiring managers to support their recruitment needs, guiding, coaching and supporting them as appropriate
- Lead and manage the talent attraction, sourcing and selection process end to end
- Understand what great Talent for Soul Foods Group looks like and recruit against this
- Build a Talent Pipeline internally and externally to reduce “time to hire” and “cost to hire”
- Implement an ‘always on’ external recruitment campaigns for Operations roles
- Create a simple dbase of potential external candidates to fill future RGM/SM roles
- Promote a compelling authentic ‘employee value proposition’ to potential /future candidates
- Propose & implement strategic innovative recruitment initiatives and solutions – and review these monthly to identify and address ‘what is working well’ and ‘areas for improvement’
- Directly source candidates through the use of social networks including LinkedIn, job boards, job centres, local organisations and partnerships (e.g. colleges/universities, etc).
- Promote Soul Foods Group as an employer of choice and ensure a brilliant candidate experience. Be an ambassador for Soul Foods Group, the face of the business
- Update SFG UK’s Recruitment / Interview pack for Hiring Managers and train/brief them on good practice Interview / Assessment techniques
- Share knowledge of recruitment/Talent acquisition skills & know-how with HR Team
- With the HR Team, support weekly & monthly People Reporting & Data
WHAT WE WOULD LOVE FROM YOU
- Talent Acquisition experience in the UK in a fast moving environment recruiting in: food/drinks/ hospitality/retail in a multi-location business
- Evidence of successfully using direct recruitment methods, digital tools, career websites, job boards, and social media sourcing of ‘always-on’ recruitment campaigns and strategies
- Strong communications skills with candidates by telephone, email, messaging apps, TEAMs, Zoom, other digital channels plus face to face in a positive and engaging way
- Strong stakeholder relationships through a consultative and inclusive approach
- Knowledge and application of the legal aspects of recruitment
- Strong IT skills -including creating & managing dbases (of Talent)
- Ability to engage others, of all levels, in initiatives by being credible and persuasive
- Experience in liaising with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, languages
- Ability to build relationships with wider teams to achieve common objectives
- Self-motivated and driven and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Pro-active, agile, quick to deliver what is required
- Customer Service mindset and behaviours
- Able to work flexibly if required to accommodate candidate availability for interviews
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
