- Providing person centred support tailored to individual needs; promoting and enabling independence and encouraging people to make informed choices
- Providing support with aspects of daily living identified in individuals care and support plans which may include diet/food preparation, personal hygiene, dressing and personal appearance.
- To work as part of a team alongside social workers, health related therapists and generic services
- Participating in supervision sessions and career development opportunities as agreed with your manager and actively engage in any training in order to maintain your own professional development and registration with Social Care Wales and enhance competency within your role
- To fully understand and observe all matters concerning individuals and staff ensuring that confidentiality and codes of conduct are adhered to at all times.
- To be aware of your responsibilities safeguarding people at risk and report any concerns which may place the individual, you, or others at risk
- The ability to work flexibly, including some weekends and bank holidays
- Permanent and casual posts with a range of flexible contract hours
- £11.59 per hour weekdays
- £15.45 per hour weekends
- £23.18 per hour Bank Holidays
- Mileage allowance for work related travel - 50p per mile
- Paid DBS
- Paid Social Care Worker Registration
