JOB DESCRIPTION - Home Care Manager (South East – North Kent and Wider areas based in Dartford)
Belmont Healthcare (Belmont @ Home) is seeking a Community Care Manager to be part of a new service launching in 2022 that will be providing home care in the Kent region and surrounding areas.
The purpose of the company is to improve the lives of people within their own homes and ensure the quality of care is always at the highest standard.
In this role, you will take responsibility for growing the staff team and building the care hours to open a new branch to the service. Having registered the first branch in May 2021 across 2 offices the service has grown offering bespoke private local home care.
The role of the incoming manager will be to grow this and develop a solid recruitment plan for further growth in a new branch location.
The Job
The main purpose of the Care Manager is to assume management responsibility for the operational activities of the branch and be responsible for the long term planning, organising, directing and staffing of the service.
You will provide care to a wide range of clients including but not limited to:
* Elderly, Dementia and Alzheimer's sufferers;
* End of life clients
* People with Physical disabilities;
* Mental health conditions;
* Specialist conditions such as MS, Parkinson's disease
Duties include:
* Developing policies and procedures from company base procedures
* Recruiting staff and ensuring they are inducted and trained accordingly
* Marketing the service effectively and attending networking events when required
* Adhering to CQC regulatory standards of care and ensuring compliance at all times
* Report writing and presenting, working to KPIs and maintaining the highest care standards at all times
The Person
The ideal candidate for the Care Managers role must have previous Domiciliary // Community Care experience and will have an understanding of a range of care packages. Have been involved and managed a service through a CQC inspection to get the service to inspection ready
You will be a confident person with a good understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
You will be the Registered Manager for the service so an NVQ Level 5 or RMA are highly advantageous.
