Job description
1) Assisting with personal care including; bathing, washing, shaving, oral hygiene and hair care, dressing, undressing and assist with all toilet and continence requirements. Ensuring that Service Users have given their consent prior to any examination, care, treatment or support taking place and that all Service Users are treated with respect.
2) General light domestic duties including laundry and ironing.
3) Assisting with the cooking of light meals, preparing snacks and the provision of beverages.
4) Carrying out tasks as specified in the Service User’s individual service/care plan, taking action to enable the Service User to carry out as much self-care and other activities as possible.
5) Helping with handling the service users’ money in respect of collecting pensions and the payment of bills including shopping. Ensuring accurate and up to date records are kept.
6) Assisting with pet care, including feeding and walking.
7) Transporting service users to local amenities and to medical appointments.
8) Contributing to accurate and detailed record keeping whilst maintaining the Service.
9) Contribute to the team effort.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Salary: £9.50-£10.42 per hour
