The Board of Trustees wish to provide the opportunity for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to become part of our team at Lakeside Primary Academy.
The Harmony Trust was established in February 2014 and currently has 15 schools under the Trust umbrella. The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with Looked After Children and Post Looked After Children.
- Be awarded Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or willingness to work towards.
- Be training in relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy/ Key Stage 1 or 2
- Have specialist training or experience in a curriculum or learning area e.g. bi-lingual, sign language, ICT, Special Needs, Foreign Language, art, music, behaviour management etc
- Have experience of preparing and delivering resources (age and ability appropriate) to engage with pupils and contribute to their learning objectives
- Have experience of developing and implementing Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans
- Have experience of working with pupils with different abilities, and adapting own approach and learning
