Avaliable Job Today We are looking for a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic History and RE Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful candidate will enjoy teaching History and RE in a supportive and well-resourced department and must be prepared to contribute to departmental developments. This includes creating differentiated History lessons, amending and updating KS3 History schemes of work to reflect our ongoing curriculum planning, delivering KS3 SACRE Cornwall Agreed syllabus for RE and contributing to the planning and teaching of GCSE and statutory RE in KS4, improving literacy, decreasing the DAP and gender gap in both subjects and essentially inspiring pupils through their love of the subject.
The successful candidate will have excellent classroom practice, be committed to high standards of learning and student progress with the energy and vision to build on current progress and have ambitions for themselves and our school.
This is a part time, permanent position to start in September 2023. The FTE will be confirmed at interview but is likely to be around 0.6.
