Job description

Our boutique dog walking company based Central London is looking for an amazing, serious and professional dog walker with a ton of doggy experience.

Travel is at your own expense so living near Central London would be best.

We love walkers with bicycles as that makes everyone's lives easier and travel is generally smooth and in your control.

Please have experience owning and / or working with dogs. We have staffies, pitbulls, fluffy potatoes, great danes, sausage dogs, big dogs, small dogs, funny dogs... You name it, we have it - so being comfortable with all breeds is essential.

Pay is £10 per hour.

We ask for a 6 month committment minimum.

This is a serious job, is hard work and comes with a lot of responsibility and liability - it is not a hobby or just something to do.

About the Role

Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, providing them with exercise and mental stimulation
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their dog's walking routine
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Provide basic grooming, such as brushing and bathing, if necessary
- Monitor the behavior and health of the dogs, reporting any concerns to the pet owner or supervisor
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing any questions or concerns they may have

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with dogs, such as pet grooming or pet sitting, is preferred
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those that may be strong or energetic
- Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting, as some dogs may require assistance or support during walks
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and ability to recognize signs of distress or aggression
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with pet owners
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for dog walking assignments
