We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, dynamic and committed Teaching, Learning and Assessment Lead to join our Higher Education team. You will have the skills and experience to drive teaching learning and assessment excellence within the Higher Education department, finding innovative solutions to support staff to excel and to further enhance departmental quality improvement and assurance.
Our curriculum provision within Higher Education ranges from Level 4-6 and includes HNC/D, Foundation Degrees and BSc/ BA/ BEng (hons) Degrees, as well as Higher/Degree Apprenticeships. We are one of the largest Higher Education in Further Education providers in the country, with high levels of student satisfaction and graduate employment. You will be required to undertake a small amount of teaching as part of your role and therefore should be an exemplary lecturer, who has a successful track record; able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, as well as best practice for both in-person and online teaching.
You must be suitably qualified to postgraduate level and hold a full teaching qualification, with significant teaching experience within Higher Education. You will have excellent digital skills and are able to demonstrate the application of digital technology within teaching and learning and would be able to support others to embrace this.
A dynamic personality, with experience of successfully coaching and developing teaching staff is essential. You will be resourceful, innovative and having good communication and organisational skills. You must be a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to working with colleagues. You will have the experience, energy and foresight to drive forward high quality HE TLA within the department, supporting successful outcomes.
