Job description
A great opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Cleaner to join our friendly team at Harley-Davidson Reading.
Reporting to the Head of Business, the successful individual will be practical and hands on. They will need to demonstrate an excellent standard of housekeeping and they should be able to show attention to detail and be proactive and innovative.
The successful candidate will assist with the upkeep of the dealership and ensure that general duties are carried out efficiently and professionally, and in keeping with the standards expected by Harley-Davidson. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin their career with Harley-Davidson and LIND.
This is a part-time role, 10 hours per week from 8.30am-11am, Tuesday to Friday @ £10.42 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
- High specification cleaning in all areas
- Following daily and/or weekly facilities schedules as designed to suit the needs of the location
- Undertake Ad-Hoc facilities projects as required, for example, deep cleaning during shutdown periods.
- To ensure the visitor facilities are maintained to a high standard at all times
- To undertake controls of cleaning materials, and to ensure that materials that are not in use are stored correctly.
- Maintain material storage area in a clean and tidy condition.
- Provide general support including desk and furniture moves, washing uniforms, maintaining external ground and general porterage within the building.
- To undertake training in all aspects of the job description that are both statutory and mandatory, and any other training that may be required.
- To follow the procedure when dealing with the disposal of waste, to designated areas.
- Actively participate in H&S hazard spotting, reporting and/or rectification Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare
Essential:
- Previous experience as a domestic or commercial cleaner
- Strong work ethic
- Friendly and approachable manner
