Post Title: Higher Education Programme Manager
Role Status: Full Time. Permanent.
Organisational Base: Home based with national travel
Reporting To: Head of Education and Employability
Salary: Band 5. Starting salary £34,500.00 up to 46,000.00 dependant on experience plus car allowance

You will be in the right place to develop your career and to help us continue the development and success of the EFL Trust’s Higher Education programme run in partnership with the University of South Wales. This is a demanding, challenging but rewarding role. You will be working with an experienced and supportive team in an organisation which values people.
The EFL Trust’s partnership with the University of South Wales trains the community coaches of tomorrow and has received national recognition in the higher education community. You will manage the EFL Trusts Higher Education programme, providing support for all students on the foundation degree and degree programmes at their 54 host EFL club community trusts. Working alongside EFL Trust’s leadership team, club mentors and the university’s academic team you will maintain and continue to improve the high-quality of the Trusts HE pathways.

Formed in 1888 by its twelve founder members, the EFL (English Football League) is the world's original league football competition and is the template for leagues the world over.
The Candidate
You will be qualified to L6 or above, ideally with a mentoring or study skills qualification. You must have a minimum of a year’s experience in providing academic support, whether in a direct teaching or pastoral role.
You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to create meaningful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders with the ability to deliver motivating presentations to individuals and groups.
High level organisational and administrative ability with strong IT skills are key to the role.
