Your Work Schedule… 40 hours per week Rotating Shifts: - Early Shift: 06:00 - 15:00 - Mon - Fri - Late Shift: 15:00 - 00:00 - Mon - Thurs | 15:00 - 20:00 Fri - Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00 What will you gain? An hourly rate of £18.50 plus bonus (subject to experience) An attractive Bonus Scheme Assured weekly overtime 23 Days of Annual Leave + Bank holidays You'll Need… City & Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance. Demonstrable experience in diagnostics, problem-solving, servicing, and maintenance. Experience as an HGV Technician, dealership experience preferred. Ability to manage and motivate a team of technicians. Coaching skills to provide support and guidance to your team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external customers. Your Role and Responsibilities… Facilitate communication between Workshop technicians and service reception to validate booking information and repair time. Manage customer expectations throughout each stage of the service process. Enhance shift performance through effective problem solving, coaching & development. Review and approve R2C inspection documents. Manage workshop work-in-progress and provide prompt updates to service reception or directly to the customer. Handle job issues in real-time to control repair quality and minimize customer downtime. Perform routine maintenance and repairs adhering to manufacturer's procedures. Surpass the standards of the manufacturer and VOSA. Conduct swift and accurate fault diagnosis using the latest diagnostic equipment. Follow company processes by completing all related paperwork. Conduct comprehensive safety checks and prepare vehicles for MOTs. Maintain product knowledge and skills according to company requirements. Attend identified training courses as necessary. Perform quality control checks on technician repairs. Uphold housekeeping to company standard and ensure everyone in the workshop complies with H&S standards as outlined in our statement and risk assessments. Ensure proper and accurate job recording, adhering to agreed timescales for job cards and service sheets.
