This is an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be trusted with keeping some of the UK’s biggest brands on the road, responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, repair, and servicing of customers’ fleets.

Role & Responsibilities
- Carry out service, maintenance and repair of diverse fleet of vehicles, including prestige cars, light vehicles, large vans, trailers and mechanical aids and HGV’s if qualified and the vacancy states this is a requirement, this role will also include inspecting HGVs to a roadworthiness standard and legal requirements and presenting these vehicles for HGV test, this role will also require you to have equivalent license
- Fault diagnosing and repairs, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our dealer status with some manufacturers e.g., Ford, Fiat and Vauxhall
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
- Welding
- Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)
- Completing job cards, booking of parts and consumables using our electronic platform
- Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required
- Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details
- Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Workshop Manager to maximise workshop efficiency
- Ad-hoc duties as required
- Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance
Skills & Experience
- Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance Repair, or considered qualified by experience
- Experience working in this role or similar role
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and effectively
- Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Technician
- Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing
- Diagnostics skills/qualifications – desirable
- Fleet experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £41,000.00-£45,373.00 per year
