Job description
HGV Mechanic, Farmfoods Warrington Depot, Leacroft Road.
- £18 per hour standard rate of pay.
- Back shift working pattern:11:30 - 20:00 any 5 days from 7 (Including weekends, flexibility is required).
- Full time, permanent contract.
- Mantaining our fleet consisting of Mercades and Renault HGV tractor units along with a variety of multi-temperature trailers, curtain sliders and box trailers.
Duties
- Maintaining of our fleet of vehicles within our on-site vehicle maintence units.
- Carrying out inspections, repairs and testing.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Work in a professional and safe manner at all times.
You will need the following qualifications and experience to be considered:
- Level 3 City & Guilds Maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (or equivalent)
- Diagnostic equipment and fault tracing resulting in first time repair
- MOT preparation
The following qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential so please let us know in your application:
- LOLER experience and tail lift repair (desirable)
- Multi temperature trailers and fridge repairs (desirable)
- CE licence (desirable but not essential)
