Job description
Class 1 and Class 2 Combination Unit HGV Driver who has a valid CSCS card with good written and verbal communication skills is required for an Environmental Services company that works closely with Construction Firms, Local Government and Utility Companies.
MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Due to the company expanding their fleet of vehicles we now have new openings for both Class 1 and Class 2 Combination Unit Truck Drivers
SALARY: £16 - £20 per Hour + Regular Overtime Available + Benefits
LOCATION: You will need to live within a commutable distance to Croydon, South London to pick up one of the specialist trucks from the depot. You will then travel to sites around the London, South East and Home Counties region.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm
KEY REQUIREMENT: You will need previous commercial experience driving combination units and have either an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence

As a Combination Unit HGV Driver you will join one of the leading Environmental Services Companies with a strong reputation of delivering high-quality solutions to their clients across London, South East England and the Home Counties.
As a Combination Unit HGV Driver you will visit commercial and residential sites to carry out a wide range of duties from CCTV Drainage Surveys, Drain Cleaning Services, Drain Jetting, Flood Response Services plus much more.
As a successful candidate you will join a company that has a unique custom-built advanced fleet of vehicles that can handle tankering transportation of liquids to cleaning of sewerage infrastructures with the largest sewer cleaning machine in the world designed and built in the UK.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Combination Unit HGV Driver include:
Operating HGV Combination Unit vehicles and carrying out drainage services at various sites across London, South East and Home Counties
Undertaking CCTV drainage surveys to identify any defects and providing recommendations for remedial work
Conducting drain cleaning services and using jetting equipment to clear blockages
Responding to flood incidents and providing solutions to mitigate flood risk
Providing excellent customer service to clients and maintaining positive relationships with them
Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in driving combination units
Previous experience
Full UK clean driving licence – Class 1 / Class 2
Valid CSCS card
Professional attitude and can do attitude
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a team
Accurate and Effective Time management
Problem-solving skills
DESIRABLE
