The Education Coordinator will have responsibility for local partnerships and for working with their Area Manager to identify and grow business development opportunities in line with the Association strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Area Education Manager, the Education Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, management and development of WEA`s education provision across the specified geographical area.
The Education Coordinator will lead education programmes, design and develop processes that ensure provision is aligned to funding outcomes and evidence-based framework, in order to maximise impact whilst promoting the WEA as an education provider of choice.
At the heart of our team, you will support and manage Tutors, engage volunteers and local branches, identify business development opportunities and develop strategic partnerships partners to allow the portfolio to grow and develop.

As an Education Coordinator, you should have:
- A degree, or equivalent, with a teaching level 4 (level 5 specialism) and have IQA and Assessor qualifications;
- Be exceptionally organised and methodical;
- Experience of managing and developing Tutors to achieve quality outcomes for learners;
- The ability to support, mentor and coach colleagues to reach their full growth potential;
- Experience using IT systems including Microsoft 365, ideally, experience of creating online provision as you will be required to use Canvas;
- A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other;
- A passion for adult education, and making a difference!
