The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, friendly and intelligent individual who is seeking an exciting opportunity to advance their career in structure finance. The company is growing rapidly, and we are growing the team by hiring at various levels.
We are looking for either Analyst or Associate level hires who will work directly with the CEO. This role requires attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role will involve building bespoke financial models, managing existing models, creating reports, analysing data and providing advice on key financial decisions. This role offers excellent growth opportunities, a great fit for a graduate or early career professional with 1-5 years’ experience in financial services.
The candidate will be expected to provide high quality robust analysis and insight - to clearly communicate complex financial analysis to internal stakeholders and external clients.
This role will enable the successful applicant to gain:
- A solid grounding in Securitisation, Structure Finance and Debt Capital Markets transactions
- Valuable financial markets knowledge on various asset classes

Job Description:
Research
- Preparing client presentations including recent transaction research, market/sector research, financial analysis, and key conclusions
- Conducting analysis of lenders and their asset portfolios, research and due diligence on potential transactions
- Undertaking market and regulatory research
- Collaborating with other members of the team on business development and identifying potential opportunities
Financial Modelling
- Financial modelling and review of business opportunities
- Modelling asset cash flows for loan portfolios
- Modelling liability cash flows reflecting various funding structures
- Providing ad-hoc scenario analysis and reporting
Transaction Execution
- Transaction due diligence and execution, to include pricing and term negotiation, financial modelling and review of legal documentation
- Due diligence on potential acquisitions, producing deal business plans, and assisting with the execution of the transaction
- Managing external advisors (e.g. lawyers), clients and counterparties
Key Requirements / Skills:
Education
- Strong A levels (or equivalent)
- A university degree achieving a 2.1 or above (preferably in an economics, maths, physics, engineering or other numerate discipline)
- CFA, relevant post-graduate degree, ACCA or other professional qualifications would be desirable
- A demonstrated interest in financial services (e.g. an internship, relevant modules/degree, external courses)
Experience
- 1-5 years of relevant financial services experience (range of compensation to reflect candidate's experience)
- Previous experience in Securitisation, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Transaction Services or Capital Markets would be preferred
- Strong analytical skills and experience with building financial models
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Financially numerate and ability to work with numbers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Sumifs, Arrays, VBA, index match etc)
- Disciplined and methodical in your approach to tasks
- Developed and proven analytical skills

Compensation + Benefits:
- Base Salary: £30k to £65k, subject to relevant experience
- Performance Bonus: Discretionary
