YDL are currently looking for experienced hard working professional drivers to join our skilled delivery team.
Our drivers complete localised collection and delivery routes in the YO postcode area. Delivering to multiple destinations within a pre planned route, collecting from customer premises and returning to base.

YDL are seeking skilled HGV drivers to join our York depot. Working as part of our busy transport operation you will be integral to helping deliver and collect from our large customer base.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Checking the vehicle before commencing run and after completing run, and complete all relevant paperwork.
- Loading the goods onto your vehicle.
- Keeping accurate records of all deliveries.
- Keeping accurate records of all collections and goods return notices.
- Obtain signed results for all goods delivered.
- Ensuring your vehicle is clean and tidy, externally and internally.
- Ensuring the safe delivery and collection of loads in agreed timescales.
- Ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules.
- Ensuring that any issues encountered whilst on run are reported.
- Ensuring awareness of safety procedures fir goods loading and unloading.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent driving record
- Multidrop delivery experience preferred
- Excellent knowledge of road transport laws.
- Must hold a current CPC DRIVER CARD
- Must hold a current TACHOGRAPH Card
