About us
Shaw haulage LTD is fast growing business based in Queenborough, Kent. We specialise in the supply and delivery of aggregates and disposal of waste materials.
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will have 2 years experience with 32 ton tippers and be responsible for transporting goods and materials to and from specified locations in a safe and timely manner. The Driver will be required to inspect their vehicle before each journey, plan routes and ensure that the cargo is secure and properly loaded. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license (clean preffered), full driver CPC, excellent driving skills, and knowledge of local roads and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a truck to transport goods and materials.
- Follow safety protocols while driving.
- Maintain the truck and its cargo in good condition.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communicate with customers and other drivers on the road.
- Be aware of traffic laws and regulations.
- Inspect the truck before and after trips.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £150.00-£160.00 per day
