Job description
Olicana Products Ltd are looking to recruit a permanent position production operative to join our busy team in our well-established manufacturing business.
Further to the above, the role requires the successful applicant to have an HGV class 2 licence to offer holiday cover for our permanent driver when required, a full FLT licence would be essential also. The vehicle is a relatively new 18-ton Volvo curtain sided wagon.
We only offer permanent positions with good working conditions; overtime is generally available, and we pay a twice-yearly bonus and membership to our EOT scheme.
Olicana is based in central Ilkley & has good bus and train links to Keighley and Bradford, there is free parking on or near site.
Experience:
Full Driving Licence HGV CLASS 2 (Essential)
FLT Licence (Essential)
Production operative Hours (Main role)
Mon – Thurs – 7.30am to 4.15pm / Fri 7.30am to 12.45pm
Delivery driver hours (Holiday cover)
Mon – Thurs 4:30am – 14:30pm Fri 6am to 15:00
Salary: £11.00 - £12.50 based (The hourly rate will be supplemented when driving and providing holiday cover for HGV CLASS 2)
Overtime paid at 1.33 x for first 5 hours / 1.5 x thereafter.

The role involves:
· Working within our factory as a general operative (majority of the time)
· HGV CLASS 2 Holiday Driver cover for our 18tn wagon, National delivers
· Load / unload wagons safely using a forklift
· Picking & loading a wagon ready for delivery, with a dispatch note delivery for ref
· No overnight stops whilst driving, back from deliveries within the same day
