Job description
Class 2 HGV Multi-drop Driver - Nights
Hourly rate of £20.48 plus £1,500 attendance bonus
Premier Park (Park Royal)
If you love driving, choose a driving career where you get to work with the newest and best trucks out there and the safest, high-end kit. As the largest food service provider in the UK, we offer a positive and supportive culture and some of the best benefits around. Like huge staff discounts on our high-quality food - everything from cucumbers to a rib of beef. Plus, all the support, training and opportunity you need to keep on developing your career with an industry leader.
You start with a 12-week induction that combines classroom learning with our dedicated training team, buddy system and Training Support Drivers, who’ll help you to learn your route so that you’re ready and confident. This is a two man delivery operation, you’ll be delivering chilled, frozen and ambient food to restaurants, pubs, care homes, schools and hospitals. At each drop, you’ll both pick the food from the back of your lorry, which keeps your day interesting and breaks up the driving. It keeps you fit too, as you can have up to 15 drops a day.
What’s really special about a driving career with us though, is the time and money we spend on helping you to develop and grow. If you’re a newly qualified Class 2 driver, you’ll gain valuable experience in a driving role. In fact, we've just scooped the Training Award at the Motor Transport Awards 2022. If you’re an experienced driver, our coaching and training opportunities could support you to develop into fleet management, planning and many more senior level roles. We also offer some pretty impressive benefits too:
- Generous annual leave with option to buy more
- Heavily discounted quality food, hotels and restaurants
- Reward, recognition and referral schemes
- Pension scheme
- Charitable events to get involved with
- Cycle to work scheme
- Free onsite parking with electric points
-
A health and wellbeing programme, to look after you.
People will always need to eat. So, we’ll always need to deliver food.
Join our valuable team of drivers and see how far you could go with us.
