Job description

We are local company who have been established 45 years. Due to our size we know each of our drivers personally. We specialise in bulk tankers, delivering various products through out the UK.

We run a modern fleet of Volvo trucks and a selection of tipping and none tipping tanks.

We are seeking individuals with previous experience of bulk powder tanks who are able for nights out Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays. Other shifts are available including 4 on 4 off. Candidates are responsible for self loading/unloading and must adhere to site rules.

We offer a competitive salary with a guaranteed 55 hours plus overtime, night out payment, meal allowance, dark money for early starts/late finish, tonnage bonus, enhanced weekend rates.

We offer 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

This position requires a minimum Class 1 license and a solid track record of safe driving. Our company is seeking responsible and conscientious individuals to help transport products throughout our region. Candidates must be able to work independently and to adhere to our stringent delivery requirements.

Successful candidates will have their own truck.

All PPE and uniform is provided at no cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep a log of hours and locations travelled.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Have no convictions for drink driving and a maximum of 6 points.
  • Have access to a vehicle.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £60,000.00 per year

Application question(s):

  • This position is for 4/5 nights out per week. Candidates must have previous bulk powder tank experience, have a good knowledge of the UK road network. The shift will be Monday to Friday with occasional weekends(we may be able to offer Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday). Previous applicants need not apply
