Salary: Starting Salary is £28,371 (Level one) rising to £30,151 (Level two) ‘pro rata for part-time’
Working Hours & Contract: Fixed Term - Maternity Leave cover – 1929 hours per year
Location: Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Hall & Deer Park & Newstead Abbey

We are pleased to announce we are re-opening Nottingham Castle, and as part of this great news, we have a fantastic opportunity to hire a Heritage Catering Lead.

The successful candidate will plan, manage and co-ordinate the heritage museum sites catering and hire operations including additional catering units or events for the museum service, through daily food production, active participation, supervision, training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding eating experience.
Essential Criteria
· Significant practical experience of catering best practice including the production and service of exceptional quality food and drink, using fresh ingredients
· Experience of high quality functions and events
· Full understanding, experience & knowledge of all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety compliance requirements inc HACCP, Food Safety, Allergens, Licencing
· Experience of leading a team
· This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
· The role requires you to participate in the on call rota, working weekends, evenings, school and bank holidays.
