Helpdesk Support - Labs
12 Month FTC
Full-time, Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:00 or 10:00 - 18:00
Bristol/Hybrid Working
The Role
Labs Helpdesk Support provides support to over 600 labs and 6000 Practice Users on the BUPA Labs software Purchase ordering system. Support is performed via phone, email and use of remote access software. The role coordinates between labs and dentists to ensure orders placed by dentists are fulfilled, and lab invoices are approved by dentists and paid by finance.
The Labs Analysts are also key to rolling out changes in software and policy/procedure changes across labs.
Key responsibilities
- Taking phone calls and email enquiries from external laboratory staff
- Liaising with dentists over unpaid labs invoices – settling any disputes
- Provide support and training to all external labs on the company labs software
- Setup new users and manage pricing from within the labs software systems
- Log all calls through issue tracking software
- Creating and updating help and process documentation
Skills
- Proven working experience in providing telephone support to remote customers
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to deal with challenging queries
- Logical thinker
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- IT proficient
