Mitie the UK's leading facilities management and professional services company are growing our Sainsbury's Security Operation centre and are looking for people to join us on a permanent basis. You do not need previous experience as full on the job training will be provided, so if you are an excellent communicator with a great telephone manner and computer knowledge then we want to speak with you!
Where: Head Office – Northampton Business Park, Northampton, NN4 7SL
When: We're looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP
Hours: 40hrs per week working a four-on-four-off shift pattern of days/nights
Job Overview
- Emergency Control Room call handling
- Supporting colleagues across the clients network by creating a safe and secure environment.
- Enabling store teams to make their store a safe place to work and shop.
- Input of security and crime incident data into the central database
- Management of escalation processes in line with SOC process
- Managing all phone and email messages and processing accordingly
- Proactive and Reactive live CCTV monitoring and constant communication with store during a live incident
- To provide a level of service that meets customer care requirements and to safely manage all activities
- Responsible for providing outstanding support and customer service for the clients colleagues.
About You:
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
- Control room experience.
- A decisive and assertive decision maker.
- Solid command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Experience of working within a demanding fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise daily workload.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliable, flexible and discreet.
- Ability to accurately follow detailed processes.
- A positive attitude and ability to deal with pressure professionally.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
Whilst the above skills are desirable training can be provided.
