We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team and provide technical assistance to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting customer issues, providing technical advice, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to communicate effectively with customers, and a strong knowledge of the company's products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers.
  • Provide customer service support via phone, email, and chat.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to customers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.
  • Create and maintain user accounts and access rights.
  • Test new software releases for compatibility with existing systems.
  • Record time entries into internal systems
  • Document technical processes and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Diploma/Degree in IT Technician and/or Computer Science
  • 3 years of related industry experience
  • Must have experience in Administrating Cloud solutions Such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), AutoPilot, Office 365 Security and Compliance.

Preferred Skills:

  • CompTia +A
  • Microsoft AZ104 or MS102 or equivalent certifications.
  • Familiarity with ITSM / ITIL
  • Experience working with Windows/Mac/Linux/IOS/Android
  • PowerShell
  • Experience troubleshooting, supporting, monitoring, administering, and deploying IT related infrastructure such as: Computers, Printers, Network appliance, Mobile Devices, Servers
  • Experience working with Cloud SaaS Applications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Cloud infrastructure: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (required)
