Job description
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Tech Support/Helpdesk Specialist to join our client in Gloucester. As a small organization, you will handle a wide range of support responsibilities, from 1st line to 3rd line. Your main tasks will include resolving queries, system monitoring, user management, and assisting with project work.
Responsibilities:
- Address queries via email and phone, logging them into the helpdesk system.
- Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance.
- Create and delete user accounts in multiple systems.
- Follow standard operating procedures for all tasks.
- Provide support for Active Directory, Basic Networking, Basic Telephony, Smart Devices, Laptops, PCs, Thin Clients, and Printers/All-in-one devices.
- Assist with in-house software queries and day-to-day hardware issues.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to resolve issues.
- Support project work as needed.
- Assist with occasional office/desk moves.
- Provide on-site support at other company locations.
- Contribute to month-end activities/processes.
- Manage email systems, including spam filtering and archiving.
- Demonstrate proficiency in PC and smart device software applications.
- Apply problem-solving skills to find solutions.

Qualifications:
