Helpdesk Support Level I
Job Overview
We are seeking a Helpdesk Support Level I to join our Information & Communications Team (ICT). This person will report to the Digital Systems Manager and will resolve user issues and facilitate effective utilization of end user equiptment and support systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and support to users to ensure appropriate selection and set up and use of ICT equiptment.
- Utilize the ticket system to monitor and support users to rectify ICT issues in a timely manner to enable correct diagnosis of issues and provide responsive service to customers using the ICT knowledgebase documentation.
- Escalate problems relating to issues outside of the ICT knowledgebase ensuring all relevant information is communicated and facilitate resolution in a timely manner.
- Maintain and resolve end user network and telephone connectivity by configuring equipment based on the ICT knowledgebase.
- Maintain the ICT knowledge base ensuring any new solutions are captured and categorized to facilitate the effective performance of the team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with users to develop understanding for business requirements.
Education and Experience Requirements
- 1-year of desktop support or support technician experience in Windows environment.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to multi-task and flex schedule to meet changing business needs.
- Able to maintain and protect sensitive and confidential company information.
- Works well with others and effectively manages the pressures of the job.
- Able to follow directions and receive constructive feedback to grown and learn.
Salary Range
The anticipated salary range for candidates working in Irvine, CA is $66,552- $81,342. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
