Title: IT Help Desk Administrator
Reports to: IT Manager
Location: DMG MORI USA
Hours: Monday through Friday, 3 shifts, 7:30-4:30 / 8:30-5:30 / 10:30-7:30
Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.
Essential Job Functions: The IT Administrator will perform a variety of tasks including administration and support of Microsoft system(s) in corporate and remote settings, create and generate reports, assist in the maintenance and planning of technology hardware and software. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Primary scope of position includes but is not limited to:
- Experience to provide level 1 and 2 technical assistance and support related to computer systems, network, software, and hardware
- Skilled with reimaging and computer system/software deployment.
- Skilled with mobility products such as Apple iPhone & iPad
- Ability to troubleshoot and install software and hardware.
- Proven experience to manage and maintain IT inventory.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
- Three years minimum experience as a Help Desk and or Desktop Technician.
- MCSE, MCSA, A+, Network+ and other IT certifications a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and logical thinking skills with ALL aspects of technology: desktop, mobile, server, and networking.
- Work effectively with technical and non-technical people.
Work Environment:
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
Physical Demands:
Frequent: Travel, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing, walking, and reaching
Periodic: Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements. Bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Occasional: Lifting or moving up to 50lbs
