Role: Sales Order Administrator
We're looking for a Sales Order Administrator to join our team at Avon Barrier Corporation Ltd based at our head office in Ashton, Bristol (BS3)
Job Type: Part-time (minimum 20-25 hours per week (flexible schedule))
Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year pro-rata (dependent of experience)

What we do:
Avon Barrier, as part of the PPG Group, design and manufacture high security crash tested gates, bollards and road blockers to protect against, hostile vehicle attacks and incursions. In addition, the focus has increased to our newly introduced vehicle access solutions including commercial sliding and quick folding gates, barriers and turnstiles.
Our core business is the manufacture, sales and service of specialist security equipment, to high profile and iconic customers around the world . We are respected in the industry for our ability to deliver projects on budget and on time in sometimes difficult trading regions.
Who we are looking for:
An enthusiastic and organised Sales Order Administrator to join and support our busy team.
As the Sales Order Administrator you will have the opportunity to make a considerable contribution to the success of the business.
Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage all post-sale contract project co-ordination
- Control all sales administration such as order processing
- Prepare reports
- Attend production meetings
- Provide first-class pre and post-delivery customer support
- Act as the first point of contact for customers post order
- Provide a link between sales and production
The Person / Qualifications / skills required
The role offers a great deal of variety across numerous fields and will suit a high-energy, good communicator who is able to multitask and problem-solve.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills are a must.
- At least 12 months of experience in admin/support roles
- Good customer service skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines where necessary
