Health System Partner Role
Roche are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and exceptional Health System Partners as part of the NHS Policy, Pricing and Negotiation Chapter in the Pricing, Reimbursement, Policy and Communications Group.
The PRPC group works together with the affiliate and the NHS to deliver transformative access for innovative solutions and to support creation of a sustainable healthcare system.
The Health System Partner is responsible for:
Aligning their personal purpose to the Organisational North Star to enable them to flourish and shine in their role
Utilising their skills and capabilities, and working flexibly as part of empowered, self-managed, multi-skilled teams to ensure prioritised work is delivered in line with Organisational principles
Working collaboratively and sharing expertise across the organisation to remove silos and duplication, ensure efficient use of similar skill-sets, and to ultimately support common pursuit of the North Star
Acting as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the centre of all actions by consistent business behaviour that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche’s Code of Conduct.
Ensuring ruthless prioritisation
Owning their development to ensure they are continually growing skills and capabilities within their Chapter (and where appropriate, in other Chapters) in line with their passion and the needs of the Organisation (present and future)
Increasingly demonstrating the VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) roles, as they develop their personal skills and capabilities, to positively support colleagues
As our new Health System Partner, you will be expected to:
Able to establish positive relationships an engagement with national/ regional / local thought leaders in England, interest in understanding the customers agenda
Driving Roche strategy for the future, with the UK NHS at a sub-national level, all NHS regional bodies (for example but not limited to Regional Teams, STPs, ACO, Cancer Alliances, ICS, NHS Boards etc). May also include national bodies as required.
Early insight and strategic translation of NHS policy and implementation
Providing system expertise on infrastructure, funding flows, quality and performance management as the new structures emerge
Develop strategic relationships and work collaboratively with external partners to identify opportunities to system shape and achieve wins against strategic priorities for all parties.
Who You Are
You are recognised as an expert in the health system and associated organisations, with demonstrated capabilities to deliver solid performance against strategic priorities. Contributes to development of group's plans and goals & support the learning & development of other team members. Moreover, you bring/have:
Excellent understanding of the health system. Able to develop and deliver strategic projects bringing together Roche and NHS strategy to create win /wins. Excellence in communications internally and externally. Abie to mentor and coach colleagues. Able to bring together multiple teams and skills. Opinion is regularly sought and valued by colleagues/ customers.
Although not essential candidates may have the following experience:
NHS role experience in system transformation
Management Consultancy experience working with NHS organisations on transformational change
Health industry experience of regional transformation projects
