This is a fixed term post of 2 years.
The shift pattern is to be confirmed. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to work within our Children’s Occupational Therapy Team at West Dunbartonshire HSCP.
You should have experience as an Occupational Therapy support worker, or have experience in a similar type of support worker role and have an interest in working with young people, their families and the services around them.
You will be expected to undertake a number of clinical and non-clinical duties with supervision and guidance from a registered occupational therapist. You will be responsible for an agreed caseload and will implement and modify existing treatment plans under supervision and within scope of practice. This will include clinical support during assessment and intervention for children and young people where physical disability, mental health or neurodevelopmental difference is impacting on participation in everyday
activity.
You will participate in service development and service change within the team.
You must demonstrate good clinical and interpersonal skills and be well attuned to communicating effectively with children, young people and their families, and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Due to the nature of community based work a Driving License is desirable.
This post is a 2 year fixed term 0.8WTE (30 hours/4 days) Band 3 position.
